Modern warfare increasingly relies on robotic, remotely controlled platforms. That is why unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) have become one of the key elements in improving the effectiveness of combat missions while also enhancing the safety of personnel. Modern unmanned ground vehicles / ground robotic systems (UGVs) integrate the latest advances in mechatronics, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence. The use of such equipment helps save the lives of service members by replacing human personnel in areas where the level of risk is extremely high. We offer the opportunity to buy UGVs in Ukraine to optimize logistics, strike, and mine-related operations directly in the combat zone.

What Is a UGV?

A ground robotic vehicle (UGV) is a remotely controlled platform capable of carrying out missions of varying complexity without the direct involvement of personnel. Thanks to their modular design, these vehicles can be easily adapted to the current needs of military units, ensuring a high level of operational flexibility.

Areas of Application for Ground Robotic Systems

Experience shows that the field of application for UGVs covers almost all aspects of the modern battlefield. Depending on the needs of military units, we develop different types of unmanned ground vehicles, each optimized for the following tasks:

1. Humanitarian and Combat Demining

One of the most complex tasks successfully performed by ground robotic systems is the humanitarian demining of areas affected by combat operations. Specialized platforms equipped with mine rollers, buckets, manipulators, and other working modules allow engineering units to detect and neutralize explosive hazards. The operator controls the process remotely while remaining in a protected shelter several hundred meters away from the hazardous area.

In addition to clearing liberated territories, robotic systems can also perform combat engineering tasks along the line of contact. UGVs are capable of covertly moving into designated areas to deploy mine barriers. This makes it possible to rapidly create obstacles to the advance of enemy vehicles without involving personnel directly.

2. Casualty Evacuation and Logistics

Timely supply of units operating at the frontline and the evacuation of wounded personnel are critically important processes. Ground drones effectively perform complex logistics tasks, including the delivery of ammunition, fuel, provisions, and communication equipment directly to positions. A UGV is capable of conducting rapid supply runs under intense artillery and mortar fire over significant distances, where the use of conventional vehicles is impossible.

Special attention should be given to missions involving the evacuation of wounded personnel from areas of direct fire contact. The use of robotic platforms makes it possible to extract wounded soldiers without involving several medics or stretcher-bearers, who often become targets for enemy FPV drones and snipers themselves.

3. Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Patrolling

Electric unmanned ground platforms are well suited for obtaining accurate real-time intelligence. Thanks to quiet electric motors and the absence of thermal signatures typical of internal combustion engines, a ground drone can approach enemy positions at very close range. High-definition video feeds enable commanders to make timely operational decisions.

Long-duration patrol missions around military bases, ammunition depots, and other strategic facilities are another important area of application. These systems can move for hours along pre-defined routes, using motion sensors and cameras to detect sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

4. Strike Operations

Modern technologies allow UGVs to participate directly in the fire engagement of enemy targets, including complex strike operations and use as kamikaze-type unmanned platforms. Their low profile and high off-road mobility enable these vehicles to covertly approach enemy armored vehicles through tall grass or bushes. Thanks to their high power-to-weight ratio, they can overcome slopes and craters at distances of up to 30 km and operate for up to 2 hours.

An explosive payload can be mounted on the unmanned platform and detonated upon approaching an enemy position or vehicle. Similarly, machine-gun systems, grenade launchers, and other weapon modules can be installed.

Precision fire is conducted using automated aiming systems and ballistic calculators that compensate for platform movement and vibration. The service member controls fire remotely from a protected position, fundamentally changing the approach to close combat on the frontline.
